Description

Marcus Miller is an exceptional musician. Bass, keyboards, guitar, bass clarinet, saxophone... Nothing seems able to resist the fingers and inspiration of the man in the black hat. Every new album from the master of the electric bass is an event. This one will be no exception. And for good reason... Between the exceptional guests, the surprising covers and the compositions with unstoppable groove, Marcus Miller delivers here an extraordinary album! Among the covers, we delight in the bouncy "Higher Ground" by Stevie Wonder, the essential "Jean-Pierre" by Miles Davis, or the standard "When I Fall In Love" immortalized, among others, by Frank Sinatra. As a special guest, Marcus invited Corinne Bailey Rae for the irresistible cover of the track "Free".
