Math rock band MAPS & ATLASES are back with their 2nd album, "BEWARE & BE GRATEFUL," following the success of their first, "Perch Patchwork," in 2010. The four members of the band met in 2004 at university. They didn't release their first EP until 2006. Another, "You and Me and the Mountain," came out two years later, earning the band some recognition and hinting at a promising future. More refined, and even better composed and produced than their first, this new album establishes the Chicago-based band as a sure bet in indie rock, on par with Battles.
