Following the success of Chameleons (Live Interpretations Of Herbie Hancock) in 2024 and their debut album The Summoned (2023), praised by MOJO, the Scottish jazz collective Mama Terra returns with Inner Space. Recorded between Glasgow, Los Angeles, and Brooklyn under the direction of CAFOLLA, this new album explores the human condition and its possibilities, enriched with new sound textures and the iconic narratives of Conrad Roberts. Inspired by major figures in jazz and beyond, the project blends ambitious instrumentation with the distinctive voice of Rachel Lightbody, featuring guest artists such as The Ayoub Sisters and Jeremy Pelt. A powerful and immersive contemporary album of 9 tracks.
