MUSICFEARSATAN is very honored to release the third album by MAJEURE (the solo project of Anthony Paterra, drummer of ZOMBI), “Termination Shock.” Describing this album as his coldest and darkest record, Paterra, a native of Pittsburgh, delivers ambient music that draws as much from kraut rock as from new-age, with these eight tracks made up of layers of synthesizers stacking up endlessly, evoking at times TANGERINE DREAM or STEVE REICH. Unlike STEVE MOORE (his ZOMBI bandmate), who leans more toward the 70s and 80s in his solo projects, MAJEURE’s music draws its essence from the 90s and 2000s and their cold, digital aesthetic, all sounding like the soundtrack to a forgotten David Lynch film. The cover art is by Maarko Phntm, and the record is released on CD and vinyl.
