He for she

Description

Magos Herrera, renowned Mexican jazz singer, has worked with the best jazz musicians in the world, combining her Latin roots with the sound of contemporary American jazz. Javier Limón is an accomplished composer, guitarist, and internationally recognized producer for his collaborations with, among others, Paco de Lucia, Bebo & Chucho Valdes, Avishai Cohen, and Wynton Marsalis. He has become the essential reference in the field of Flamenco as well as international music. The album "Dawn" (released on OKeh last year) marked the meeting of Magos Herrera's deep and sophisticated voice and the richness of Javier Limón's Flamenco guitar. "He For She," their new album, was recorded live in support of the UN's eponymous campaign. A movement of solidarity for gender equality that aims, for the good of all, to engage one half of humanity to support the other. Magos & Limón are joined on this occasion by some internationally talented artists: Eugenia León, Gregoire Maret, Fito Páez, Sachal Vasandani, Chabuco, Oran Etkin, and Rogerio Boccato.
