K.A (Köhntarkösz Anteria) is the ninth studio album by the French rock band Magma. The album is Magma's first studio album in just under 20 years. The material was largely composed by drummer Christian Vander in 1973-1974, and fragments can be heard on Magma's live album Inédits from 1977. K.A is sung almost entirely in Magma's constructed language, Kobaïen. This album is part of the Köhntarkösz album cycle. Christian Vander revisited an old, unrecorded composition and gave it a very successful modern reinterpretation, introducing a new band sound that blends the vintage "Da Zeuhl" elements of Magma's Kohntarkosz era material with the captivating cosmic jazz and mass vocals of Vander's later group, Offering. The lineup featured here is very similar to that appearing on the 2001 live CD and DVD Theusz Hamtaakh La Trilogie at the Trianon. The album is a must-have for die-hard fans and newcomers alike.
