Madonna announces the release of "Veronica Electronica," a long-awaited project featuring rare and unreleased remixes from the critically acclaimed album "Ray of Light." This key moment in Madonna's unique career will also be celebrated with a new release from the Silver Collection, a series of limited edition silver vinyl reissues spanning her legendary catalog.
Veronica Electronica will be available on July 25th on silver vinyl.
Veronica Electronica, an 8-track collection accompanying Ray of Light, was initially conceived by Madonna as a remix album in 1998. This project was ultimately shelved due to the phenomenal success of the original album and its many singles, which would dominate the charts for over a year. Ray of Light would go on to sell over 16 million copies worldwide and earn Madonna four Grammy Awards, including Best Pop Album.
More than 25 years later, this idea is finally coming to fruition. This collection includes new edited versions of club remixes by Sasha, BT, and Victor Calderone, in addition to the original demo of "Gone, Gone, Gone," an unreleased recording produced by Madonna and Rick Nowels.
