Balloonerism is an unreleased album by Mac Miller, recorded between 2013 and 2014 during his Faces period and never commercially released. Considered an iconic project that had been informally circulating on the Internet until now, this album is finally being released officially with 15 tracks. Announced at the Tyler, The Creator festival, Balloonerism will be accompanied by a short animated film created by Sam Mason, the director of the "Colors & Shapes" music video, made in collaboration with Mac Miller's family three years after his passing. Its release, scheduled for January 17, 2025, falls two days before Mac Miller's birthday, in tribute to his musical legacy.
