Balloonerism is an unreleased Mac Miller album, recorded between 2013 and 2014 during his Faces era and never commercially released. Considered an iconic project that had previously circulated informally online, this album is finally being officially released with 15 tracks. Announced at Tyler, The Creator's festival, Balloonerism will be accompanied by an animated short film directed by Sam Mason, creator of the "Colors & Shapes" music video, made in collaboration with Mac Miller's family three years after his passing. Its release, scheduled for January 17, 2025, falls two days before Mac Miller's birthday, in tribute to his musical legacy.
