Under the fragmented sky

Description

Lunatic Soul is Mariusz Duda, the talented creator, singer, and multi-instrumentalist behind some of the best prog bands in Europe, including this release on the English label Kscope and with the Polish stars Riverside. On May 25, 2018, Duda will release his sixth studio album, Under The Fragmented Sky. Like Fractured released in 2017, this new album also represents the pinnacle of the first decade of Lunatic Soul. Following last year's album, which focused on themes of grief, hope, and a fractured society, Under The Fragmented Sky brings back the image of Lunatic Soul as we know it, with dark and enchanting atmospheres highlighted. The title of the new album comes from the epic 12-minute track 'A Thousand Shards Of Heaven' featured on the previous album. Duda explains: Fractured is not fully representative of the latest recordings of Lunatic Soul. The new, more classic tracks have arrived at the right time, that is, now. 'Under The Fragmented Sky' is both a complement to 'Fractured' and an independent artistic release with its own identity.
