Since their self-titled debut album in 2012, the Lumineers have achieved incredible milestones: twenty-four number one hits, billions of streams, packed world tours, multi-platinum releases, Grammy Award nominations, and, most importantly for core members Jeremiah Fraites and Wesley Schultz, numerous beloved and timeless songs. The band's fifth studio album, "Automatic," is being released in a musical landscape that has become dominated by solo artists relying on other songwriters. Schultz says that being one of the few touring bands that writes all of its own material is "a unique badge of honor." But that doesn't mean they won't collaborate with other artists; Schultz and Fraites have recently written and contributed to songs with pop icon P!nk, as well as emerging singer-songwriters James Bay and Zach Bryan.
