Lulu Van Trapp is more than just a band. It is a totem, a rallying cry. Since their beginnings, this chosen family has aligned its resolutely punk spirit with an obvious pop sensibility, in the popular sense of the term. And they deliver epic, sensitive songs, blending saturated guitars and massive synthesizers. Their first album, released in 2021, "I'm Not Here To Save The World", already saw their sonic signature take shape, while drawing on clearly identified genres: rock here, Jamaican music there, English electronic music elsewhere. This time, Lulu Van Trapp announces its return with their second album 'LOVECITY', without any overly narrow musical labels. “Our desire is to play music that everyone can dance to, inclusive music. We live in a world that is fragmented musically, structurally and psychologically. Having a pop approach brings to mind the idea of a crossroads, of musical Constantinople.”
