Lady luck

New album of original compositions recorded between London and New York. He will compose and arrange all the songs himself. For the lyrics, he is determined to sing only in the language of Lou Reed or Dylan, a logical choice for someone who has spent many years abroad: between London, where he currently resides, New York, and Boston, where he attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music. Some notable people participated in this recording: Paul Turner and Derrick Mckenzie, bassist and drummer of Jamiroquai, as well as Drew McConnell from Babyshambles joined him in the studio. In addition to this core team, there are a few special guests: Matthieu Chedid and his brother came with their guitar to participate in the single "Lady Luck," while actress Anne Hathaway and artist Ara Starck, daughter of the famous designer, made guest appearances on two tracks of great effect ("The Cure" for the former, "It's Always Something" for the latter). Although the participants are numerous, Lulu delivers a very intimate and sincere album. With modesty, the young man performs two imaginary dialogues with his parents: he addresses his mother on the lovely Floydian ballad "Moushka," and discusses with his father on "Destiny," a track with disarming lyrics for which he arranged, with a wink, very Gainsbourg-like arrangements. Musically, "Lady Luck" continues to illustrate the eclecticism and open-mindedness of its author, oscillating between sexy funk (Lady Luck), pop (Love on the Rocks), atmospheric ballads (Moushka), and refined instrumentals (he notably signs a delicate "Lily Rose" for the daughter of Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp).
