Lucky Break is a cartoon character, a young girl with a guitar, a constantly expanding vessel for the emotions connected to artistic creation. She can be both very sad and very joyful, living between two worlds. On her debut album, "made it!", released on Fire Records, Lucky Break builds a new universe for her character. "made it!" brings together songs written between the ages of 19 and 23, reflecting the uncertainties of early adulthood, the end of a first significant relationship, and learning to assert oneself. Tracks like "Crush" combine poignant lyrics with powerful rhythms and a biting bassline, while "Head Down" uses bright, dreamlike guitars to explore themes of politics, consumer society, and moral complacency.
