Recorded at home in 1992 with a 12-string guitar, a four-track recorder, a loop pedal, infinite reverb, and the textured whispers of the mysterious Melissa Arpin Duimstra, Scott Cortez’s loveliescrushing project transforms adolescent reveries into a serene, moonlit drift across an endless sea. This enriched and remastered double-album edition adds five new saturated meditations from the archives. These unreleased tracks extend the hypnotic and fragile atmosphere that made the original record unique. To accompany the experience, the lyrics and a faithfully reproduced postcard are included, an invitation to get lost. No need to look for the eyewash station: here, blindness is intentional.
