Description

Lovesick is an Italian group composed of Paolo Roberto Pianezza and Francesca Alinovi. Two multi-instrumentalists whose influences are deeply rooted in American country music, rock 'n' roll, and the western swing of the 1940s and 1950s. In addition to their distinctive vocal harmonies, Paolo plays electric and acoustic guitar, as well as lap steel, resonator, and Dobro. For her part, Francesca plays an upright bass to which she has added a brush pad, a kind of percussion located inside her instrument that allows her to keep the rhythm using brushes. The duo has been joined by Alessandro Cosentino on violin and drums.
