Pressed on double vinyl in "smoky plutonium" color at 140 g, this edition includes liner notes written by the composer and by the screenwriter, director, and producer Christopher McQuarrie, all enhanced by a design by Mo Shafeek. Lorne Balfe's music accompanied the critically acclaimed film Mission: Impossible - Fallout in 2018, the sixth chapter of a phenomenally successful espionage saga. In a franchise characterized by change, Fallout marks a first: it is the very first installment of this long series to bring back the director of the previous episode, Christopher McQuarrie. In a deliberate effort to renew the film's universe, McQuarrie chose to enlist an entirely new team of behind-the-scenes talents, including composer Lorne Balfe.
