Mondo Music, in collaboration with Paramount Pictures, is proud to present for the first time on vinyl, the score by Lorne Balfe for MISSION IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT, the critically acclaimed 2018 film that constitutes the sixth chapter of the long-running successful series of Tom Cruise's spy franchise. In a series defined by change, FALLOUT represents a first for its director (Christopher McQuarrie). In a deliberate effort to keep this chapter fresh and innovative, McQuarrie decided to recruit a new group of behind-the-scenes talent, including composer Lorne Balfe. Creating a modern, militaristic, and melancholic soundscape with classic Schiffrin themes that have defined the franchise for nearly 50 years, Balfe's score is a remarkable piece of the series, giving the film the weight and balance it needs to navigate effortlessly. This first pressing includes a double black vinyl and a flexi disc containing an unreleased track.
