German epic doom metal masters Lord Vigo will release their sixth studio album on High Roller Records in May 2025. After "Danse De Noir" (2020) and "We Shall Overcome" (2022), which were celebrated by press and fans alike, "Walk The Shadows" is by no means the third part of the trilogy. "'Walk The Shadows' stands on its own and is independent of a continuous concept," explains drummer, singer and keyboardist Vinz Clortho. "After two very sophisticated concept albums, this was a nice change for us. It was really fun." Tracks like "Through A Glass Darkly", "Servant Of The Dark" or "The Triumph Of The Killing Heart" exude a kind of gothic horror atmosphere that comes pretty close to an eclectic mix of Sisters Of Mercy, Fields Of The Nephilim and even The Cure. 1.
