Californian alt-rock band – founded in 2005 by Taylor Rice (vocals, guitar), Kelcey Ayer (keyboards, vocals), and guitarist Ryan Hahn – Local Natives are back with their 5th album, Time Will Wait For No One.
Created during a time of great change for the band, who, shaken by pandemic-related isolation, separation, and the discovery of new responsibilities of fatherhood, were on the verge of collapse; this album, the fruit of an unprecedented period of creativity, marks the end of a threatening identity crisis for the band members. Produced by John Congleton (Death Cab For Cutie, St. Vincent), Time Will Wait For No One is the album of renewed momentum and a new chapter in the history of Local Natives, on the eve of their 20th anniversary.
