LOBSTERBOMB announces the release of their debut album "Look Out" on July 21, 2023, via Duchess Box Records. Formed in Berlin through an Instagram billboard "We Formed A Band" set up by the band Gurr, LOBSTERBOMB had no idea at the time that it would lead them to sign with the label that discovered Gurr, Duchess Box Records. The trio Nico Rosch, Vik Chi, and Crayon Jones all immigrated to Berlin in search of the same escape and longing for the places they had left behind. After connecting with each other during the pandemic of 2020, they began writing songs inspired by their surroundings, the fears and frustrations of the time, but had the desire to seize the moment and take ownership of the world, a feeling they still have today. "I have a bit of an obsession with a German band called LOBSTERBOMB, I think they are amazing," said Simon Le Bon, legendary frontman of Duran Duran, during his American radio show on Sirius XM.
