LIZ GREEN is not a newcomer. Originally from the small town of West Kirby in northern England, she won the new talent competition at the Glastonbury festival in 2007 and released back-to-back 2 SINGLES “BAD MEDICINE” and “MIDNIGHT BLUES,” which have become collector's items for all those who have encountered this timeless singer. A worthy heir to Jolie Holland and Karen Dalton, Liz offers us ageless music, at the crossroads of the 30s and modern pop. After 3 years of touring, she finally returns on January 23, 2012, with her first album “O, DEVOTION!”, recorded in the legendary Toerag Studios in London by the no less legendary LIAM WATSON (The White Stripes, Supergrass). The album is preceded by the single “DISPLACEMENT SONG,” a 'Tragi-comic pop' work as she likes to call it, straight from New Orleans.
