Party Zero

Description

Veterans of New York noise, they reemerged in 2016, not intending to inaugurate a second act in their story but doing so nonetheless, and have since created some of the most exciting music of their career. Their new album "Party Zero," the third since their return, is one of their best, redefining Live Skull from a band with a past to a band with a future. "Party Zero" is undeniably a big sound, with a cheeky dynamic. But the sophistication that has always been the band's calling card remains an essential element, featuring the kind of pulverizing mishmash that characterized the New York sound of the 80s, bright and melodic, producing an intoxicating psychedelic effect. This is the sound of Live Skull in the 21st century, a desperate time that needs heroes. "We have been pushed to our limits, how do we come back?" asks Mark. "This has been a common theme for Live Skull since the beginning, and it is still the case today. We are trying to provoke thought with this new body of work."
