LITTLE JIMI's new album 'The Cantos' is nothing short of the initiatory and sonic narrative of their character Jimi, whose schizophrenic personality is the gateway to a sharp, introspective, and chimerical musical universe. The trio skillfully combines space rock, trippy doom, and '90s influences. Hypnotic riffs and creative intelligence are concentrated here in six intense and exhilarating tracks. Wrapped in an effective layer of fuzz and bombarded with powerful drum hits, the first single "Last Cantos" promises high psychedelic and mystical content with a theme directly borrowed from Greek mythology. Its progressive build-up makes it truly addictive. The band adds about the album: "'The Cantos' is an album inspired by texts dealing with the idea of travel, such as Homer's 'The Odyssey,' both for the story and the artwork. It was a real guiding thread for us, as we knew which direction we wanted to go, and it carried all the musical creation. We were able to take the time to compose and create this record; nothing was done in a rush, and thanks to that, nothing was left to chance, which makes 'The Cantos' an object we are very proud of."
