Released 45 years ago, "Waiting For Columbus" is a major live album in rock history, a fusion of blues, country, jazz, and R&B. It notably includes memorable performances of the songs "Dixie Chicken", "Willin'", "Time Loves A Hero", "Fat Man In The Bathtub", "Oh Atlanta" and "Sailin' Shoes". To create this album, Little Feat (backed by Tower of Power's horn section) recorded several concerts in the UK and USA during their 1977 summer tour.
