Well, Lisa Ekdahl comes back to settle near our ears… Since she is not the intrusive type, and since she knows how to subtly reinvent herself, it is with undiminished pleasure that we approach this new album « More of the Good ».
She wrote ten songs that take their time, neither too much nor too little. With lyrics that have meaning. « I'm getting thirsty for the meaningful, I'm getting tired of that stuffy stuff », as she writes in « Like Mermaids ».
With room for all kinds of nuances, a pure and childlike joy, a sensuality tinged with mysticism, sometimes also a melancholy – all the more genuine for not being ostentatious.
