After a first EP, The Weight Of The Globe, sisters Lily & Madeleine, aged only 18 and 16, release their first self-titled album, in the purest folk tradition. Chosen by Sufjan Stevens to join his Asthmatic Kitty label, Lily and Madeleine present 12 tracks of classy beauty. Hailing from Indianapolis, they rose to prominence via YouTube with the video for their song "In The Middle" viewed over 280,000 times. The album was recorded in just two weeks in Bloomington and produced by Paul Mahern.
