LIARS is releasing its new album, TFCF, short for 'Theme From Crying Fountain', and once again steps out of its comfort zone to explore new musical territory. For this new album, Angus Andrew, the band's founder, decided to change his habits. While previous albums had been written and composed in large cities like Brooklyn, Los Angeles, or Berlin, TFCF was written and composed in the middle of the Australian Bush. Angus is indeed from Australia but left the country 20 years ago. Following his estrangement from Aaron Hemphill, Angus went to his native Australia to work on this new album, which is unlike its predecessors. He thus reconnected with nature, and never seemed more connected with his environment than when he was in a big city. This situation gives the album an intimate and autobiographical tone. TFCF is therefore another unexpected chapter in the LIARS saga, and one that confirms, for Angus, that good things are yet to come! For fans of: NO AGE, CLINIC, SUUNS, DEERHUNTER
