Hell Was Boring

Description

Hell Was Boring is the most ambitious double album by L.F.T., the alias of German producer Johannes Haas, composed between Hamburg and Berlin between 2023 and 2025. This dense, narrative record evokes a fever dream, blending life, death and interstitial mysteries. Influenced by Bauhaus, Linear Movement, Gary Numan or Falco, it forges a link between musical heritage and personal introspection. The sound, raw and analog, is built on vintage instrumentation (TR-808, SH-101, MS-20...) and tape recording that lends it an imperfect, grainy warmth. No overproduction: the rough edge is embraced, sought after. Guests such as Felix Kubin, Rosaceae or Konstantin Unwohl enrich this universe charged with electricity and tension. More than an album, Hell Was Boring is an immersive experience. It is music for troubled hours, between dream and waking, where reality cracks. A dark, poetic and essential work for lovers of radical and emotional electronics. Absolutely worth discovering.
