Never Trust A Best-Of

Description

One year after their latest studio album Les Wampas Font La Gueule, Didier’s band is releasing its first best-of, Never Trust A Best-Of! How can Les Wampas be summed up? It’s a career that began in 1983, 11 studio albums, hundreds of concerts, and a few hits known by everyone, such as the famous “Manu Chao” (2004). More importantly, it has always been a certain genius for blending rock/punk with absurd lyrics, but always finely crafted and crowned with memorable punchlines. Never Trust A Best-Of lets you look back over the entire career of Les Wampas through 27 songs taken from all the band’s albums. This best-of will be released in a limited edition, accompanied by a second CD of 25 unreleased tracks (demos, alternate versions, B-sides), and a DVD including a 1h30 documentary, also unreleased, For The Rock III, retracing the life of Les Wampas from 2008 to 2014. The best way to rediscover one of the most striking French rock bands of the last 30 years!
