Respectively guitarist and bassist-singer in the band Marquis de Sade, Fred RENAUD and Christian DARGELOS created LES NUS in 1980. But after a first album in 1982, the band split up in 1984. In just four years, LES NUS established itself as a benchmark for many of its peers. In 2013, the idea of a reunion took shape as part of the Transmusicales de Rennes. But Fred died suddenly a few weeks before the event. The concert would still take place, but as a tribute. In the end, encouraged by the reception of their Rennes performance, the idea of an album took shape, then became reality in July 2015. "The reunion of Les Nus really moved me deeply, not because of nostalgia, but because of the power in their songs." (Etienne Daho, Alcaline, France 2, 2014). This new album reassembles a unique repertoire, already praised by NOIR DÉSIR’s cover of the cult "Johnny Colère" on their album Tostaky and the strong tribute from Étienne DAHO, who now produces the track Les Années Reagan. Eleven tracks of epic and literary rock, powerful, dark and stylish. And we discover or rediscover the power of these songs and words, the conquering strangeness of Christian DARGELOS’s vocals.
