The debut album by an Agde-based duo formed by Isa Pill and Eric Dim.
Since late 2015, the duo has been producing and refining their tracks, recording, and rehearsing in their home studio amidst lizards and cicadas, with even a cat and a turtle present... Elegance, delicacy, and good taste are the order of the day! The Manteez are two people dispensing their "magic seeds": Isa Pill, the singer, possesses the kind of voice you fall in love with. Eminently sensual, her breath warms and caresses you. She sings in French and English, with rather endearing lyrics. Éric Dim, a multi-instrumentalist, distills a hypnotic rhythm: deep bass and guitar combine to form a solid weave. The respective worlds of these two cheerful individuals intertwine, unravel, and ultimately merge into eleven finely crafted songs. The album's atmosphere is poetic, airy, and at times melancholic. As for the sound, it is rich, opulent, and warm, and for good reason: Dominique Blanc-Francard, of Château d'Hérouville fame, who worked on a great number of mythical French pop-rock albums, is at the helm.
