Formed in Montpellier in June 2016 somewhat by chance by a group of longtime friends, some of whom had already made a name for themselves in other bands, Les Lullies follow in a long line of rock'n'roll groups and artists, from Little Richard to Jay Reatard, with a simple creed: play rock'n'roll, get in the van, hit the road, play as many venues and reach as many audiences as possible, and kick some ass. It's their wild, energetic, enthusiastic, and violent live shows that truly set them apart.
The band's first EP was released in February 2017 on the Barcelona label Discos Meteoro and has been out of print for some time. The second, "Don't Look Twice," recorded by Lo Spider, was released in November 2017 on Slovenly Recordings and is also almost sold out. They are now releasing their first LP, "Les Lullies," still recorded and mixed by Lo Spider at Swampland (Toulouse) and mastered by Tim Warren (Crypt Records).
