Big Crown Records is proud to present Rêverie, the debut album from the project Les Imprimés. The moving and ethereal sounds of Les Imprimés have won over many fans since their first single was released. Morten Martens is the man behind the group. Born, raised, and working in Kristiansand, Norway, he remains discreet while producing sincere, infectious, and unique music. Morten plays almost all the instruments and handles production and arrangements. He has been recording records for decades and won a Spellemann Award (the Norwegian Grammy) in 2006 as a producer. While awards and accolades testify to the level of his talent, this new album truly shows who he is as a complete artist. By accumulating material and experience, he built his own studio on the island of Odderøya and began making a living by playing and recording music for others. Legend has it that after these sessions, he would work on his own project until the early hours of the morning. Les Imprimés and Rêverie were born from these late-night sessions. He took the sum of his influences, combined them with his own vibes, and began writing, playing, and singing the songs. It’s soul music, but he approaches it in his own way. There is a pop sensibility in the writing that is done with the utmost class and taste, giving Les Imprimés the rare quality of immediate appeal that only deepens with each listen.
