Les Frangines is the story of a meeting between two young girls: ANNE and JACINTHE. Born to different parents but cradled by the same melodies, these sisters of the heart embrace a lineage with artists from the new pop-folk scene like BOULEVARD DES AIRS, VIANNEY, PASSENGER, LUMINEERS, COCOON...
In 2019, surrounded by PIERRE-LAURENT FAURE and JÉRÉMY POLIGNÉ for the arrangements and BÉNÉDICTE SCHMITT for the production, these two singer-songwriters choose boldness as the common thread of a self-titled debut album, now certified Platinum (with over 72K physical sales). A first chapter led by the track "SI J’OSAIS" (over 7M streams), the bucolic ballad "ACCROCHÉ À MA TERRE" (synchronized with the trailers and credits of the show "L’Amour est dans le prè" on M6), the sweet and luminous ode to motherhood in piano-voice "POUR UNE SECONDE," and the essential hit "DONNEZ-MOI" (certified Platinum with over 35M streams), co-written and composed by their long-time friend VIANNEY, who is also behind the flagship pop single "ENSEMBLE" (over 7M streams) from the new edition of the album, centered around sharing and kindness.
2022 marks the grand return of Les Frangines, who after a tour of more than 100 dates (including a Café de la Danse, a Trianon, and two Olympias filled in record time as well as the largest Zeniths), and the release in 2021 of the two tracks "DEVENIR QUELQU’UN" and "NOTRE-DAME," unveil their new single "NOTES" which already accumulates over 600K streams, ranks in the Top 100 Yacast on radio and in the Top 40 on TV with the clip. A track that describes those daily tasks that overwhelm us, and invites us to take our lives back in hand by taking time for ourselves. Co-written with SYLVAIN DUTHU (Boulevard Des Airs), this track announces the return of Les Frangines to the forefront with a unique date at the Olympia on May 4, 2022, and the release of their second album "NOTES" on May 6, 2022.
