Beaucoup de bruit pour (Presque) rien

Description

Only one album re-released and remastered. The band was formed in 1999 and originally consisted of high school friends. Their notoriety grew thanks to numerous concerts throughout France, where they sometimes performed in disguise. In March 2002, LES BETTERAVES released their first studio album, titled Beaucoup De Bruit Pour (Presque) Rien..., on the Créon Music label. The album was followed the same year by a two-track single titled Un Couscous Pour Jean-Marie. Still in the same year, they released a split titled Le Punk Est Mort / Dans Un Jardin with the band La Raïa. At the dawn of 2003, the band decided to break up. They celebrated with a memorable farewell concert on January 27, 2003, in Paris, accompanied by the release of a maxi CD "Pour En Finir" distributed free of charge in only 300 copies. In November of the same year, the story of Les Betteraves definitively ended with the release of the double album-compilation-post-mortem "Vide Ordure & Sabordage." After the band's demise, Till (Meuh) and Étienne (Kojack) founded GUERILLA POUBELLE, with Jokoko, who designed Les Betteraves' visuals.
