L' Épée is The Liminanas + Emmanuelle Seigner + Anton Newcombe. Their 1st album " Diabolique " is a family story brought together. Emmanuelle Seigner, after 2 solo albums, fell in love with The Liminanas' records, whom she met and then joined at the microphone to sing their song " Shadow People ", taken from the self-titled album to which Anton Newcombe (leader of The Brian Jonestown Massacre), a fan of the Perpignan duo, also contributed. Following their meeting, "Diabolique " was initially supposed to be a solo album by Emmanuelle Seigner composed by The Liminanas and produced by Anton Newcombe, who loved the songs. Until a letter from Anton Newcombe to Emmanuelle Seigner: " I had a dream, we formed a group all four and we called ourselves L' Épée ". Bingo. The group forms and works together where everything comes together and finalizes naturally. The album is named " Diabolique " by Anton Newcombe and includes the participation of Bertrand Belin, another friend of The Liminanas. The group will also take the stage with concert dates starting in September.
