For this new musical chapter, the composer and performer frees himself from a format that has until now been predominantly rooted in more traditional French song. Rich from his multiple collaborations, Léonard Lasry delivers an album that musically stands at the crossroads of everything that constitutes his love for song and pop music in the broadest sense, particularly nourished by his recent works which have sometimes explored musical currents previously unseen in his own repertoire. While we savor the trip hop-tinged atmospheres on "Le grand danger de se plaire" or "Avec mes yeux d'océan," we also find somewhat dancefloor accents on "Pas la même mémoire" and the intimacy of a piano on "En passant par l'amour." Finally, we enjoy "Un autre jour dans la nuit," an enchanting slow song sung in duet with Fanny Ardant. Following the very successful "Avant la première fois" (2017) and "Au hasard cet espoir" (2021), Léonard Lasry offers us here a third album written in tandem with Elisa Point, where each song already takes on the appearance of a new standard.
