Bobino 67

Description

First vinyl edition on double LP gatefold sleeve. Accompanied by his incomparable pianist Paul Castanier, Léo Ferré returned to the Bobino stage for the fourth time in September 1967. His recital perfectly reflected the richness of his repertoire: it featured poetry by Baudelaire and Aragon, a song by his friend Jean-Roger Caussimon, and, of course, his own compositions, some of which had just been released, such as 'Quartier Latin', 'La Marseillaise', and 'Ils ont voté'. Some of these songs were about to achieve a destiny that even their author could not have imagined, and history has shown them to be visionary.
