Lenparrot is happy to present his third studio album, La Conversation: a logbook of a luminous human journey, sung in French and recorded in the heart of the Savary family's sheepfold in the Corbières. This conversation unfolds over a long period of time, serving as an excursion with Romain Lallement, aka Lenparrot, a Nantes native with a warm voice and cold blood, intimate words, and protein rhymes. Ventoline, we take a breath and rewind. At the start, as often, there is a new door to push open. The door to singing, to begin with. After the very successful Quoi and Paladines, tracks released in French among the nine other English-language titles on the previous album Another Short Album About Love (2020), why not finally create a sense of unity and thus complete the long-awaited unveiling of the French singer? Then, there is the arrival of fatherhood. But also the processing of several deaths. And so many dialogues left hanging or prevented. The frustration of exchanges with the absent will quickly coincide with the adventure of encounters that are conjugated in the present… And the encounters here are what make the journey. Romain Lallement met Nina Savary two years ago. The multifaceted artist has just released an elegant debut pop album and is now staying in the sheepfold that her father, Jérôme Savary, founder of the whimsical Grand Magic Circus, has renovated over time. The farm has become a warm production and recording space amidst the cicadas. It is March 2022, and Romain is invited to meet singer Nina Savary, producer Emmanuel Mario (aka Astrobal), and multi-instrumentalist Vincent Guyot to compose his next album. Immediate musical epiphany: in just one week, half of the album is in the bag. Revitalizing. After a crossover concert with Nina Savary at the Château des Ducs de Bretagne, the four friends are reunited at the sheepfold to finalize this conversation that is as benevolent as it is delightful. For it is ultimately this natural organic setting that best tells the story of this album, one that elegantly revolves around the sometimes difficult events that life imposes on us, closely transcribing the lightness of musical asides turned towards the "keep the joy" expressed by Julien Gasc...
