"A Louder Silence" is the debut album from London-based producer and multi-instrumentalist, Leifur James. A classically trained pianist, he also plays the cello. His musical background has given him a deep understanding of rhythm and melody that guides his approach to writing music. "A Louder Silence" is the culmination of two years of work, blending the artist's rich musical influences. The album is both light and provocative, energetic yet restrained, overflowing with nuanced electronic instrumentals, dubby synths, and jazz breaks that create a rich array of textures, sometimes complemented by James' soulful voice.
