The two sisters have successfully carved out a strong blues rock identity, breathing new life into the genre with a forward-thinking perspective and a decidedly feminine approach. They co-produced this album with Texas guitarist Tyler Bryant (Rebecca's husband in real life). While Megan handles vocal harmonies and her now famous lap-steel guitar, Rebecca takes care of lead vocals, guitar, and keyboards. Long-standing members of their band, Kevin McGowan and Tarka Layman, are on drums and bass. Primarily recorded in Rebecca and Tyler's home studio, the result is electrifying and fully harnesses the vitality felt at the combo's live shows.
