Thru Me Again is the second album by the Chilean trio LA Hell Gang, their first with Mexican Summer. Hailing from Santiago, the cradle of a new psychedelic scene with Holydrug Couple, Follakzoid, and La Banda, the band plays wild rock'n roll that evokes the heat and dazzling light of desert dunes. Despite a heavy sound, there is a certain clarity in the production, making the explosive guitar solos and the hallucinatory vocals even more powerful. Inside My Fall and Last Hit evoke the sound of The Black Angels or Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, while the most lucid moments of the album (Sweet Dear, So High) remind one of Brightblack Morning Light.
