The album is a mix of experimental-meditative loops, abstract rap with punk/noise sounds, and even ventures into folk/blues at times. It is also, and above all, a sentimental album, deeply rooted in references to his past but still looking towards the future.Kutmah, real name Justin McNulty, is a Hip Hop DJ and producer born in Brighton. At the age of 12, he moved to Hollywood with his parents and became a member of the community web radio station Dublab. His first productions appeared in 2006 on the Japanese compilation The Sound of L.A., followed by a 9-track EP released on Poo-Bah. In 2010, due to complications related to his immigration status, he was placed in a detention center for 2 months. During this period, he created a series of 39 drawings which, after his extradition to England, were exhibited in several galleries.
