Kosa and Friends 1987-1997

Description

After the disappearance of the French ethno-industrial group Vox Populi! in the 1990s, its members, including Arash Khalatbari, Ariel Kyrou, Axel Kyrou, Chester Harlan, Mithra, Pierre Jolivet and Francis Manne, continued their artistic adventures. Together, they founded the Vox Man Records label in 1982 and launched the "Audiologie" compilations in 1984, an audio fanzine covering the experimental electronic scene of the time. The three volumes of "Alternative Funk" became references for avant-garde electronic music enthusiasts. Notte Brigante now presents "Kosa and Friends 1987/97", a collection of twelve unreleased recordings that retrace the bold musical world of Francis Laffont after the end of Vox Populi! An album bearing witness to the French avant-garde and its creators.
