Kokoroko announces today the release of Tempos Dificeis Sempre Passam, a new EP of remixes reinterpreting tracks from their acclaimed album Tuff Times Never Last through the lens of some of the most promising contemporary Brazilian artists. Translated from the album title in Portuguese, Tempos Dificeis Sempre Passam reflects both the timeless message at the heart of the original album and the creative dialogue between Kokoroko's vibrant musical universe and the rich and eclectic Brazilian music scene. This collection of four tracks brings together a selection of carefully chosen artists, whose individual approaches blur the boundaries between different genres and contemporary Brazilian sounds. Available for download and on limited edition vinyl, the EP also marks the return of artist Luci Pina, whose cover of Tuff Times Never Last has been reinterpreted for this new chapter, creating a visual link between the original album and its Brazilian counterpart. The EP is complemented by three remixes from the rich and vibrant Brazilian music scene. Onome by Kokoroko teams up with renowned guitarist Nyron Higor for a rich and textured version of "Da Du Dah," while producer Aleh Ferreira offers a rhythmic reinterpretation of the same track. Finally, Bruno Berle transforms "Closer To Me" with his unique style, a blend of intimate songwriting, Brazilian groove, and experimental pop boldness.
