The famous singer and songwriter from Glasgow, kitti, has announced her new euphoric and emotional single, Maybe. It will be released on September 25 and will be the first track from her highly anticipated debut album, Somethin' In The Water. Driven by the beautiful and uplifting sound of a full band with brass and strings, Maybe showcases kitti's extraordinary voice. She offers a soaring jazz-blues meditation on unrequited love, in the same vein as the empowering feminist styles of Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse, or Chaka Khan. Somethin' In The Water is the culmination of Kitti's musical journey to date and reflects her reputation as one of Scotland's most exciting jazz performers, with accolades including Best Singer at the Scottish Jazz Awards in 2022 and 2020, and Best Newcomer at the Scottish Music Awards 2020.
