THE OTIUM MIXTAPE

Description

"The Otium Mixtape" is a bold fusion of traditional sounds and contemporary beats. This meeting of the old and the new creates an immersive musical experience, where the boundaries between cultures dissolve to give way to a certain universality. This passion for finding connections between seemingly distant and contradictory worlds even finds its way into the title of this work: "The Otium Mixtape," referencing the time of creative and studious idleness advocated as an art of living in ancient Rome. At that time, there was already talk of limiting work time to the strict necessary for some, so that they could extricate themselves from their daily lives and fully dedicate themselves to this wandering of the mind, without which there are no great human discoveries, nor cultural or scientific advancements.
