There Goes The Neighbourhood

Description

The British rock band Kid Kapichi returns with their new album There Goes The NeighbourhoodProduced by Dom Craik of the British band Nothing But Thieves, "There Goes The Neighbourhood" is Kid Kapichi's third studio album. It features 11 iconic tracks about unhappy youth and small-town nights out, songs you can protest to or party to in equal measure. Like filmmaker Guy Ritchie, a global force who stays true to his British roots, the Hastings quartet is determined to hold onto their local values and beliefs and to spread their songs sharing working-class pride to as many people as possible. On "Zombie Nation," a track featuring the unmistakable voice of Suggs, a Madness legend and long-time Kapichi hero, the band highlights social and political apathy in the face of dark times, and their collective stance against grey Britain. Small-island thinking runs throughout the album, especially on "Can EU Hear Me," a fiery punk explosion denouncing Brexit.
