Description

The return of the mysterious Norwegian representatives of Black Metal who groove! Khold was formed in 2000 in Oslo with Gard and Sarke (who also has a band named Sarke with Nocturno Culto from Darkthrone) on the ashes of the cult band Tulus. With its first five albums, Khold has already toured with the legendary Satyricon and Behemoth. It took 6 years for the band to release what will be their most accomplished work to date. 'Til Endes' was recorded at Studio Fredman (Amon Amarth, At the Gates, Opeth) in Sweden in June 2014, with the following line-up: Gard (vocals/guitar), Sarke (drums), Rinn (guitar), and Crowbel (bass). 'Til Endes' explores the darkest limits of metal with its unsettling riffs, its gloomy vocals, and catchy anthems that are usually overlooked by the black metal scene. Starting from its trademark blend of primitive mid-tempo and heavy black metal, Khold adds an additional touch of aggression at all levels this time. The album includes a stunning cover of Sepultura's classic, 'Troops of Doom', reworked in the Khold style, titled 'Dommens Arme' since the band only sings in Norwegian.
